Our Pure Gold Soap is actually a milk soap, breast milk to be exact. It’s a fantastic combination of our best selling grass fed organic tallow soap and breast milk. 

I am sure you are wondering why we created this soap.  The biggest reason was we wanted a high profit soap to benefit a special little baby in Haiti.  This beautiful baby has struggled to survive since her birth. All of the profit from this soap will go to this precious little one. It will provide her with proper nourishment and access to medical care.  You can see her perfect face in the photos. 

The second reason goes back to our Little Red Hen Soap roots. We want a soap that is safe for every skin type. One that provides a gentle clean and effective moisturizing. This soap may also provide some healing properties. 

Breastmilk doesn’t just provide fantastic nutrition, studies show it’s an effective treatment for topical skin issues. It has a long history of topical use. Now studies are showing it’s just as effective as hydrocortisone cream in treating infant eczema. It can also be helpful in treating acne and rashes. 

Because studies have not been done we can’t promise that any of the enzymes in the breast milk make it through the saponification process but breast milk contains more fat than other milks making this soap super creamy. It literally feels like butter but doesn’t leave your skin feeling coated in goop. It also contains more sugar and sugars in soap create a silky lather. Finally it’s also high in vitamins which promote healthy skin. When all of this is paired with super skin loving fatty acids and vitamins of organic grass fed tallow this bar is worth every single penny.
